[arch] Как заставить PiTiVi работать с разными форматами видео?

Мда. На ночь глядя то ли глаз замылен был, то ли мозг выключился.
А что такое -bad и -ugly плагины. Как-то меня названия смущают.

В mplayer-е вкомпилена своя копия ffmpeg (если он не mplayer2).

Пальцем ткни, где там написано, что он персонально компиляет либы ffmpeg.

Cмотрим в ебыдл на отсутствие ffmpeg в RDEPEND=,

cмотрим в PKGBILD на отсутствие ffmpeg в depends=.

Для тех, до кого медленно доходит, смотрим в configure и Makefile mplayer-a.

Ну ладно, ладно, я просто понял слова про «копию ffmpeg» слишком буквально. Да и зачем mplayer-у компилять лишнюю прослойку.

Собственно ffmpeg это набор библиотек (libavcodec libavformat libswscale etc), а /usr/bin/ffmpeg — это просто фронтенд (как и mplayer/mencoder).

Только не все из них кодеки для проигрывания. Есть и для снятия видео же, которые mplayer не нужны.
