А самое интересное, что в процессе голосования… были подозрения, что ПРОПИХИВАЮТ upstart:
Two of the tech-ctte members are canonical developers and one is an ex-canonical dev. Namely Steve Langasek, Colin Watson and Ian Jackson. Steve and Colin are both members of the Upstart-Developers Launchpad Group. Steve has been pretty vocal on his systemd hate as well. It would be a miracle if they would vote against adopting upstart. Sounds like a rigged vote for me, but ymmv."
