That means that U55 - END OF THE LINE does not feature common character progression known from RPGs. Instead, your catalyst for character progression is the smartphone, your most important tool for survival. You will be able to upgrade it over time by downloading apps and collecting enhancements for it. (i.e. bigger battery pack, translation app, flashlight app, navigation app. animal noises app, etc.)
