Responsibilities:

* Executing application performance and stress tests in large scale web ecommerce environment * Developing and executing reliable load test scripts and scenarios * Generating reports to demonstrate performance of the various application components * Developing and documenting best practices in optimizing environment configuration * Configuration and customization high performance environments * Providing in-depth problem investigation and analysis. * Working in partnership with development team

Requirements:

* Linux system administration background * Strong knowledge of Unix, shell scripting * Experience working with MySQL * Experience working with highload web projects * Understanding of load balancing and replication * Knowledge of virtualization technologies * Strong performance analysis, performance profiling and troubleshooting skills * Familiarity with web application development technologies * Good written English (good spoken English is a plus) * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Highly motivated and able to work with little supervision

As a plus:

* Knowledge of scripting languages: PHP, Python * Experience in C or similar
