Привет! проблема следующая при попытке установки на Solaris8 версии Oracle Application возникают проблемы с Х-сервером при этом в faq'ах написано примерно следующее

Check log file for details. symptom: DISPLAY not set. Please set the DISPLAY and try again. change: NOTE ROLE: Run the script (adrun8i.sh) manually and get the following response: java.lang.NullPointerException at oracle.ewt.lwAWT.BufferedDialog._init(Compiled Code) at oracle.ewt.lwAWT.BufferedDialog.<init>(Compiled Code) at CDLocator.<init>(Compiled Code) at CDLocator.main(Compiled Code) DISPLAY not set. Please set the DISPLAY and try again. : No such file or directory cause: The problem appears to have been caused because the X server would only respond to one user.
fix:
Point the display to an X server on a different machine. --- проблема с Х-сервером - точнее с установкой переменной окружения DISPLAY что это значит (точно и дословно) и как это пофиксить? заранее спасибо.
