sendmail и открытие сообщения

есть маркетинговая софтина - openemm.org. не отображает событие открытия сообщения клиентом. скорее всего дело в настройке sendmail, вот конфиг sendmail.mc :

Debian Lenny.
хост находится за smarthost - на нем все настроено прозрачно. Если посылать письмо на находящийся в этом же домене корпоративный exchange, то событие отображается. Уважаемые знатоки сендмэйл, в чем может быть дело?
