Установка VNC-сервера на VDS

и понял, что нужно создать в /etc/gdm файл custom.conf но пока не понял, что в него писать.

The file gdm.schemas is machine-generated, and will be overwritten automatically during upgrades. Ок, мужики!! Все заработало как надо! Использовал это (!!!): http://oapeon.blogspot.com/2010/05/ubuntu-1004-vnc-based-login-server.html Единственный косяк - логин и пароль, они передаются в открытом виде.

Как зашифровать?
