Использовал ли кто свободные дистры?

Пробовал parabola и gnewsense. Если не пользуешься проприетарщиной - разницы не заметишь.

Используй дебиан без non-free реп, и будет тебе счастье.

два года сидел на убунте, но что-то не то) Хочу пересесть на арч, но перед этим погоняю на виртуалке свободные дистры, мож что и понравится :)

Нет смысла, всё равно не получится не использовать несвободное ПО, даже если всё, что запускается на процессоре в пределах ОС, будет свободным. Потому что есть ещё несвободная прошивка в виде BIOS или UEFI и несвободная прошивка Embedded Controller, поэтому смысла уменьшать число проприетарщины просто так нет, всё равно от всей не избавишься.

Какая разница, какой дистрибутив? Главное, какая ОС!

Тебе это не подойдёт, хотя бы потому что куча проприетарных дров в той ли иной мере используется в той или иной GNU/Linux системе, чтобы было съедобно. Ты уверен, что готов есть кактус во имя СПО?

Да. gNewSense - только в качестве liveCD, не устанавливал.

Самый симпатичный - trisquel. На нетбуке с платформой intel работал замечательно.

Gentoo позволяет легко устанавливать некоторое число несвободных программ с помощью своей первичной системы пакетов.
