Это GNU или не GNU?
Есть такая полезная библиотека SharpZipLib для работы с Zip-архивами:

У нее довольно странная лицензия. Ее основа - GNU, но есть особое исключение [см. ниже]. Обычно одного упоминания о GNU достаточно, чтобы забыть об использовании такой библиотеки в закрытых продуктах. Но здесь особый случай.
Короче, запутался я... и обращаюсь к многоуважаемому ALLу со следующим вопросом. Можно эту библиотеку заюзать в своем рабочем проекте или нельзя?

The license is released under the GPL with an exception which allows the linking to non GPL programs. The exception to the GPL is as follows:
Linking this library statically or dynamically with other modules is making a combined work based on this library. Thus, the terms and conditions of the GNU General Public License cover the whole combination.
As a special exception, the copyright holders of this library give you permission to link this library with independent modules to produce an executable, regardless of the license terms of these independent modules, and to copy and distribute the resulting executable under terms of your choice, provided that you also meet, for each linked independent module, the terms and conditions of the license of that module. Note : I've changed the exeption a bit according to the newest GNU Classpath exception. Old versions did have another exception, but the new one is clearer and it doesn't break compatibility with the old one.
