Не проигрывает MPD...

конфиг файл в студию!

А демон mpd права на чтение/исполнение имеет в папке с коллекцией?

mpd --create-db --verbose ругается?

+1, проверить обязательно - только вчера напоролся: переместил коллекцию, а права дать забыл. В итоге минут пять как дебил не мог понять почему mpd не создаёт базу...

А что, на исполнение тоже права нужны?

нужны права на исполнение того каталога, где находится музыка - это раз

chown -R mpd:audio /var/lib/mpd - это два

раскомментируй строку #port "6600"

в .bashrc пропиши

export MPD_HOST=127.0.0.1 export MPD_PORT=6600

сам демон mpd запускается или нет?

попробуй сначала вырубить авахи, а потом запускать мпд

выкладывай всё, что получаешь на терминале
