slackware 9 в apsfilter выбрал ljet4l (ljet4 - то же самое) lpr koi8.txt - лесенка + псевдографика вместо русских букв

пробовал koi2alt как if или of - также (koi2alt.c by ache)
чего еще попробовать? howto less'тал (printing и cyrillic) ткните плиз где смотреть!
