Все те же проблемы с mount cd...

Ничего не понятно из этого сообщения. Какие настройки? В .config? Какое отношение automount может иметь к корневой файловой системе?

Прочитал исходное сообщение. Да, действительно нужен /usr/src/linux*/.config чтобы ответить. Хотя, по идее, что бы там ни было, такого быть не должно. Модули пересобирались одновременно с ядром? Или они из другой компилляции?

Интересно, почему начинать изучение Linux надо было со сборки ядра? Чем ядро по умолчанию не устраивало-то?

у меня слабая тачка ,хотел отказаться от ненужных устройств,включить поддержку amd и т.д и т.п. а насчет automount я незнаю как это связано ,но все-таки из-за чего это может быть

нет все ок toshiba... на hdd

В следующий раз выбери внизу USER LINE BREAKS, иначе хрен найдется такой же чудак, как я, который будет это г. читать.

P.S. fstab,modules.conf и lilo.conf в студию. Без всяких отмазок, что там все в порядке - если все в порядке, какого же оно не работает.

Я собственно сразу не ответил, потому что никаких ошибок касающихся CD-ROM в .config не нашел. фиг знает в чем причина...

ха, Mustdie у тебя значит есть.. там наверное все работает, ан нет, все равно маздай.. :(
