Доброго времени суток. Данный вопрос наверное неоднократно обсуждался, но у меня почему то не особо получается решить его... Настройка пользователей.
Установлена ОС Ubuntu Server 9.10 ... ProFTPd 1.3.2

Далее делаю директорию:
sudo mkdir /var/www/vhosts/site1
Создаю пользователя :
sudo useradd user1 -p password -d /var/www/vhosts/site1 -s /bin/false
для верности:
sudo /etc/init.d/proftpd restart
... Далее пытаюсь зайти туда, но получаю в ответ 530 ...
Help!!!
