We are looking for a mid-senior Systems Administrator/Engineer to join a technical operations team in Kyiv office. That is an exceptionally interesting project for one of the world biggest companies. The primary focus of the technical operations team is the ongoing management of the production and staging systems.
Responsibilities:
- Upgrading and initial deployment of J2EE/Oracle products according to deployment guides provided by Development Team
- Support the continued growth of production and staging environments
- Part of a 24x7 emergency response team
- Monitoring/trending of production and staging systems
- General Linux Server administration
- General Windows Server administration
- Oracle DBA
- Troubleshooting performance issues
Desired Qualifications and experience:
- More than 3 years of professional experience (outsourcing/out staffing experience is preferred)
- High-Load production enviroments experience will be a plus
- Deep knowledge of Linux Administration
- Deep knowledge of Windows 2003/2008 Administration
- Deep knowledge or SQL (DML, DDL, DCL, TCL)
- Knowledge of Oracle 11g as DBA
- Knowledge of J2EE Application servers (Glassfish is preferred)
- Experienced in use of shell (bash/powershell) scripting to perform tasks
- Experience with alerting and trending packages like Nimsoft, Nagios or similar
- Experience with windows/linux networking
- At least Intermediate English Language knowledge
