Requirements: College/University degree in Computer Science or Engineering. Intermediate in English. Experience with Linux environments, UNIX sys-admin commands, UNIX troubleshooting and shell/Perl/Python scripting – to integrate various DevOPS tools. Experience in virtualization using tools such as VMWare, Xen, etc. Good understanding of the difference between unit, StyleCheck integration and acceptance / feature tests and the integration to requirements with defect tracking. Experience in administering application servers, servlet containers, and web servers (Apache httpd, Apache Tomcat). Experience of working with cloud platforms (EC2, S3, RDS, etc). Experience with DevOPS: Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery tools: version control systems (SVN, Git, etc.), including branching and merging strategies, software build (Maven, Gradle, etc.) and continuous integration (Jenkins or similar), configuration management (Chef, Puppet etc.) for continuous delivery, infrastructure rollout (Docker, CloudFormation, Terraform, etc.), logging for a DevOPS pipeline (Splunk, Logstash, Graylog ELK, etc.). Experience in DevOPS pipeline metrics, triggers and monitoring (for feedback within the pipeline). Experience with the OPS side of DevOPS: integrations to Operations services for defect tickets, config. mgmt., production monitoring, security/PEN. Experience with databases and message brokers. Experience with configuring, customizing, and extending monitoring tools. Solid understanding of networking concepts, modern and currently used network protocols. Good understanding of Release Management steps – including ITIL, SOX (compliance).
