Requirements: Candidates will demonstrate strong client facing skills and be keen to help people. Good technical skills required (in Unix, database √ Sybase / Oracle, PERL , Autosys) ; ;A strong aptitude for learning √ whether business or technical will be required; English √ fluent Responsibilities: Detailed analysis of the root cause of one or more incidents, followed by resolution either directly or via other teams √ such as the application development group; Act as a point of escalation for serious incidents that cannot be resolved by the Service Desk.; Proactively manage change requests √ assisting in the assessment of whether a release is of the correct quality for production and in the planning, training etc for that release.
This assignment requires a permanent move to London, UK. The company provides the work permit in the UK. After a year spent on-site, the candidate will have an option either to stay in London, or join an off-shore part of the development team in a senior technical or managerial role.
