A large software development corporation is looking for Performance Engineer
Responsibilities
development of strategies, methodologies and procedures for performance engineering of embedded software; conception and implementation of architectures for performance testing and monitoring of embedded software; developing of performance test strategies and concepts, e.g. measuring performance in virtualized systems or performance test-case design and realization; conception and implementation of performance test architectures for complex software systems (distributed and embedded); application of Analytical Performance Methods (Markov Chains or Queuing Networks) or Discrete Event Simulation. planning and conversion into practice of process improvements for quality assurance and testing.
Requirement:
load testing tool application (e.g. Loadrunner from Mercury); good track in software engineering, e.g. analysis and design and application with UML-Tools, basic know how of IDEs (practical experience in software development of embedded systems with C++ and Java); application of profiling tools and/or aspect-oriented programming. basic knowledge of SW configuration and change management; ideally formal approaches of software development, e.g. Analytical Performance Methods, SW simulation approaches and models and experience in consulting and collaboration with clients would be appreciated; english enough for interview.
