Senior Developer/Architect Project Description: Our customer, a global market leader in system firmware is currently developing an advanced on-line backup solution. The solution provides unparalleled simplicity and unique set of features.
Responsibilities: The main responsibilities are research and development of the core functionality and the most advanced features. That includes:
•Working out and adaptation of the existing algorithms in the sphere of data backup.
•Design of the data model for efficient networking transmission and storing.
•Tuning the algorithms on the realistic data.
•Prototyping algorithm implementation.
•Creating Architecture and High-Level design of the system core.
Job Requirements
Experience (years): From 5 years as a software engineer (from 3 year as Sr. software engineer, Architect, or Team Leader)
Technical Skills: •Software architect and designer skills. Algoritmist. Analytical mind. •Strong knowledge of the networking. Including knowledge of the modern Internet protocols (e.g. SOAP and REST) and related frameworks. •Strong knowledge of the C++ and/or Java languages. •Have experience with large data storage and distributed file systems. •Experienced in Cryptography. •Experienced in Databases. •Fluent English
