А какой почтовый провайдер используете вы?
Поддерживает ли он русский? (а то в lavabit'е при отправке с вебморды получается якась фигня).
Соответствует ли он стандартам? А то с тем же lavabit'ом получается так:
The lavabit.com's IMAP implementation does not conform to RFC3501. The RFC clearly mandates that strings containing spaces inside should be either sent quoted or as string literals.
That means that the reply should have looked like this:* STATUS «foo bar» (MESSAGES 1 UNSEEN 1)\r\n
or, if using the literal syntax:
* STATUS {7}\r\nfoo bar (MESSAGES 1 UNSEEN 1)\r\n
but the server sent us this garbage:
* STATUS foo bar (MESSAGES 1 UNSEEN 1)\r\n
which cannot be parsed properly.
