С люто нелюбимого хабра пришла тревожная новость:
Хорошая вещь Дропбокс. И файлики для редактирования на нескольких машинах держать удобно, и шаринг приятный, один клик и уже ссылка. Но сегодня сервис немного удивил. Вот такое письмо обнаружил у себя в ящике по приходу домой:
«Dropbox User, Nov-01 10:57 pm (PDT): Dear Dropbox User:
We have received a notification under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (»DMCA") from International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) that the following material is claimed to be infringing.

Вкратце в пересказе — файлик About hackers.mp3 лежащий в папке Public нехороший (по мнению Дропбокса IFPI) и поэтому Дропбокс (который подчиняется американским законам) его удаляет, с атата в виде временного бана на шаринг. И действительно, файлик пропал (причем даже из удаленных), а шаринг не работает. Интересность состоит в том, что музыка довольно часто проходила через папку Public моего дропбокса и практически вся, естественно, делала это незаконно (согласно DCMA). Аналогично с картинками и видео. Единственное, что можно логически предположить, так это что робота испугало название. Через день после появления файла он был обнаружен и удалён, как содержащий слово «hacker». Бессмысленно и беспощадно.
