Вышел новый релиз замечательной мультимедийной библиотеки xine-lib. В данной версии исправлены найденые ошибки безопасности, добавлены новые возможности и исправлены некоторые старые :-)

* DVB: Fixed pat parsing with fullfeatured cards.
* DVB: Now uses auto-inversion if the frontend supports it - should
solve many tuning
problems for people with sat cards.
* DVB: Will now verify that channels.conf file is in correct (?zap) format.
* fixed OSS mixer disabling itself after first playlist entry
* improved overlay blending quality, fixed subtitles with XShm
* improved support for transport streams
* new plugin for DVB subtitles

* fixed restoring xv settings on exit for some frontends
* UTF-8 support for cddb (freedb) client
* identify AAC, MPEG4 and H264 on transport streams

* fixed mmst and mmsh issues with the cache plugin
* fixed mmsh "RESET" chunk handling
* implemented winamp.com "streaming" protocol
* meta info (title, artist, etc) returned by the xine-lib is now UTF8
* new XINE_META_INFO_TRACK_NUMBER meta info
Как уверяют разработчики этот релиз последний перед финально версией 1.0, по этому они приглашают всех принять активное участие в тестировании библиотеки и в случае чего отпраить сообщение об ошибке :-)
