Интересно сможет ли конкурировать их ли их служба файлов на Linux с существующеми реализацями файловых серверов Netware в плане производительности, корректности блокировок и т.д.?.../хотя это прошлый век/... вероятно получиться большая лажа именно в этом сервисе...

Ты говоришь о файловой системе, а не службе файлов, то что сейчас есть в NLS это просто сервис уровня приложений, а никак не файловый сервис. Инсталлер всей этой штуки написан на питоне, что прикольно.

You may download the Nterprise Linux Services software from Novell free of cost. You will be required to subcribe to Novell's site through Novell Login to download Nterprise Linux Services. Once you are logged in, you will see a list of files to download.

Этот новояз (Nterprise, Xtreme, всякие e-/i-приставки) начинает раздражать. У вас не складывается впечатления, что это отрыжка патентования слов в качестве торговых марок?

Так кто-нить скажет сколько стоит лицензия на одного пользователя (при 100 пользователях). А то я на сайте новела чего-то ненашел толком...
