Как уверяют разработчики этот релиз последний перед финально версией 1.0, по этому они приглашают всех принять активное участие в тестировании библиотеки и в случае чего отпраить сообщение об ошибке :-)

Вышел новый bug-fix релиз Samba-3.0.8, всем production серверам использующим samba необходимо обновиться.

Основные исправления:
Compile fixes for HP-UX.
Fixes for the printer publishing code used when joined to an AD domain.
Incompatibilities with file system quotas.
Several bugs in the spoolss printing code and print system backends.
Inconsistencies in the username map functionality when configured on domain member servers.
Various compile warnings and errors on various platforms.
Fixes for kerberos interoperability with Windows 200x domains when using DES keys.
Fix for CAN-2004-0930 -- smbd remote DoS vulnerability.

Вышла Samba-2.2.11, исправлены ошибки при работе с клиентами WinXP SP2 + еще кучка мелких фиксов. Разработчики просят всех использовать Samba-3 :-)
