Vacation: 3rd level support engineer
Background&Education:
University technical education;
Understanding of industry standard solutions and tools (testing, project management tools);
Industry standard languages and hardware, UNIX (HP-UX, SUN Solaris, Linux), C/C++;
Experience with software development, project work;
General skills and requirements:
Fluent communication in reading, writing, speaking English;
Knowledge: Unix (HP-UX, Linux or Solaris), C/C++, STL, make tools, shell scripting languages;
Understanding of principles SS7 protocols and SS7 network configuration
Experience in SW development, knowledge in development cycle & standards, testing environment;
Experience in Open Source software.
Experience in POP3, SMTP, LDAP
Aggressive ability to extract information from internal and external sources to use in successful fulfillment of responsibilities;
Self driven and motivated, but balanced with teamwork and open communication skills results oriented;
Knowledge of Java is a plus;
Knowledge of Telecom switching equipment and telecommunication protocols such as SS7 is plus
Familiar with physical interfaces, cabling, physical link’s analyzing, connection tracing etc is plus

Для справки: инженер 3-го уровня работает непосредственно с кодом проекта (вопросы заказчика и проблемы конфигурации не его ответственность). Т.е. исправление багов и дополнение функциональности. Unix, IP, ОКС7(сервисная часть), почтовые протоколы, C/C++, многопоточные приложения и английский письменный на высоком уровне обязательно. Опыт в работе с кластерами будет плюсом.
