У меня видюха ati 3650 и ubuntu 12.10 .Я занимаюсь 3д-графикой так-что нужен драйвер. Делал как здесь http://www.linuxrussia.com/2013/06/legacy-amd-radeon-ubuntu.html Xorg понизил до 1.12 , ядро 3.5 . Драйвер установился но упали иксы и я его удалил,вот лог
