Траблы с cdrecord

Попроси рута, пусть он запустит cdrecord

скорее всего, минимальная скорость записи болванки > максимальной --/ --/ резака.

У этого резака формула скорости записи:

CD/CD-RW 24/16

DVD-R/RW 4/2

DVD+R/RW 4/2.4

DVD RAM 3

Может я чего не знаю, но по-моему, болванок cd-rw с минимальной 16 не бывает.

Тут как раз другое -- может быть поможет залочка скорости до 4-х.

Ну и надо проверить "глупые" причины: порченая болванка, плохостёртая, кроме того cdrecord'у не очень нравится работать не от root'а, хотя можно и настроить, но у меня терпения не хватило :)

Попробуй добавить ещё ключ -force.

Бывает ( http://www.verbatim-europe.com/index/product_view.php?article_id=49&lang_... ), хотя, скорее всего, в данном случае причина в другом, просто смутило сообщение "Trying to use high speed medium on low speed writer".

Кстати, а что пишет "cdrecord dev=/dev/hdb -prcap" со вставленной болванкой?
