C++ Developer (Moscow)
Required Knowledge/Skills • Overall understanding of Object Oriented Programming concepts • C++ knowledge • Experience of using C++ under UNIX • Basic UNIX skills: work through command line and shell scripting • SQL scripts writing experience • Good communication skills (ability and desire to write emails, chat in instant messenger and call to customer) • Experience of work in project teams (including project manager, developers, testers, analysts and customers), collaboration skills • Spoken English (at least enough to pass interview with the customer) • Proactive approach to any task assigned • Desire to learn financial domain
Optional Knowledge/Skills • Java knowledge and experience is a plus • Oracle knowledge and experience is a plus • Understanding mathematics and finances is a plus
Responsibilities • Work as a member of development and support team for existing IT system in middle office of big investment bank • Participate in new features development for existing system (clarify business requirements, design required changes, provide effort estimations, do coding, unit testing, develop test scenarios and support further release phases) • Participate in Level 3 Production support (analyze problem tickets, communicate by mail, instant messenger and phone with other support levels and business people, raise defects in bug-tracking system, do changes in existing code and promote them in form of patches to Production)
